2 Minutes with a Knight Segment, December 10th, 2008
London, ON Dec 11, 2008 - The London Knights Hockey Club and gracefm105.9 CHJX are excited to announce a new segment that is now heard on gracefm105.9 each and every Monday and Friday at 8:00am, 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
Tomorrow at 3:30pm, on the steps of the John Labatt Centre, the London Knights’ Geoffrey Hare, gracefm’s Capt. Dale and Carmine Angi and Jeff Watson of Capstone Career Solutions Inc. will publicly present the segment along with the “new look” of the grace fm Saturn Vue with the 2 Minutes with a Knight decal.
The 2 Minutes with a Knight segment is fast paced, just like the vibrant Junior “A” Hockey club that ROCKS the John Labatt Centre on a regular basis. With quick updates from both players and coaches, grace fm’s Capt Dale rapid-fires questions at the London Knights to keep listeners up-to-date on their “Team in Green”. The 2 Minutes with a Knight segment is proudly sponsored by Capstone Career Solutions Inc. with full support from owner Jeff Watson, who gushes over the London Knights whenever given the chance. Additionally, Carmine Angi, Coordinator of the 2 Minutes with a Knight segment couldn’t be happier, saying “It’s a great partnering of a local London business (Capstone Career Solutions Inc.) with London’s team, the London Knights”.
With a rich history of winning teams over the past 60 years, London has been very fortunate to have world class hockey team, year in and year out. The roster of London Knights cutting their teeth in the Forest City before making the jump to the NHL has been nothing short of incredible to witness. From recent players like Pat Kane, Corey Perry, Sam Gagner and Sergei Kostitstyn, it has been a hockey fan’s dream. From the 2004-05 Memorial Cup and OHL Championships to the by-gone days of Brad Marsh and Dino Cicerelli, the London Knights have developed an immense fan base. That is now being built upon with the addition of the 2 Minutes with a Knight segment on gracefm 105.9, which airs London’s Positive Music 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
